My angel has boxing gloves as well as wings.
She eats my heart in front of me
She pummels me
She licks up all my oxygen
She knocks me out for the count...
and then she delivers
the most beautiful, peaceful dream
spiritually serene
Where everything is new
between us
pure rivulets
streams of beaming light
(where it is new)
and the excitement
and flashes
of our conversations
have yet to convene
and everything we have
buttons and rosebuds
the smile of our beginning
